Ca y est le projet ballon est en « phase de préparation» !

En partenariat avec Planète Sciences et le Centre National des Etudes Spatiales (CNES), les élèves de1 ère Euro ont commencé à travailler sur la notion de pression depuis fin décembre.
Ce lundi 16 janvier, nous avons aussi accueilli Monsieur Geoffroy, du Pavillon des Sciences de Montbéliard, qui sera aussi le suiveur de notre projet. Ce fut l’occasion de mieux se rendre compte de quoi il s’agit ( notre ballon pourra voler jusqu’à une altitude de 26 à 30 km, bien plus haute que celle des avions de ligne par exemple) , de voir les différents éléments qui constitueront notre ballon sonde (enveloppe, parachute etc..), de réfléchir à quelques expériences qui pourraient être mises dans la nacelle du ballon etc…
Prochain RDV, lundi 23 janvier, où nous accueillerons Monsieur Barbot,chargé de recherche CNRS à l’institut
Femto-ST de Franche Comté. Il nous accompagnera tout au long de ce projet au niveau de la réalisation des expériences que nous aurons choisies de placer au sein de notre ballon sonde. Le tout en anglais bien-sûr.

So we are Vesna, Mia and Rosemay and we represent the communication group. As you might know
we will do a report twice a month. First we will introduce the groups and their goals.

Communication: Vesna, Mia, Rosemay. We have to make a flyer to invite people watch us and join
us that day. We have to contact the press etc.
Photo: Antoine, Joaquim. They have to find the Earth radius thanks to a picture. They are looking for
the formula for the moment.
Spectrum; Anna, Amélys, Léa: They have to work on the Sun’s spectrum. So they have to measure
how much UV we receive. They will put 2 sensors, 1 with sunglasses to see if the sunglasses are
really covering us from the UV. IT will take the measure above and under the ozone layer to see if it’s
really protecting us.
Box: Samuel, Ismail, Erwan, Octave: They have to work on the box and build it. They don’t know the
size yet, but the material yes, and it will be extruded polystyrene.
Pressure: Maryam, Nathan, Timothe. They have to work on the pressure to understand if pressure
increase while we go up. They have multiples prototype to try.
Temperature: Juline, Maëlane, Quentin: Trying different isolating materials to see if they will really
protect us and keep us warm. They don’t know which materiel yet. 3Sensors, 1 outside with nothing,
1 inside with nothing, 1 outside with the isolating material.
